Several months ago, you did a presentation at Hayes Elementary which
I attended with my children. I want to thank you for a wonderful presentation.
We had a great time and my kids talked about it for days. You presented
"real life" issues
on a level they could relate to and understand. You also sent a pretty
strong message to one of my own sons about "physical limitations"
and how they don't really have to be something that holds you back.
That alone was priceless.
My son has physical, visual and mental/emotional disabilities and you're
probably the first real life person he's seen that suceeded inspite
of any kind of challenge. Seeing people on TV or reading about them
really isn't reality to him. You were and without realizing it were
sending a powerful message home with us that night and for that I am
forever grateful. THANK YOU!
Thank you for the assembly and the impact you're making on every child
and family who has the blessing of having their lives touched by the
wonderful work you do and the messages you send. Thank you and God
Bless
you and your family-
Brenda McHoffman
Thank
you for coming. The students and teachers loved you!
